Dan Reynolds is from Portland, Oregon. He received a BA in Linguistics from the University of Oregon in 2001 and an MFA in Film Studies from Boston University in 2004. In the two years before he came to UCSB, he was a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University. Dan is interested in film and video game aesthetics and issues relating to consciousness and cognition.
