Christopher Hagenah is a first year PhD candidate in the English department.  He studied English and Film at USC for his undergraduate degree and at Loyola Marymount University for his Masters.  Chris is a published author, filmmaker, and musician.  He composed music and played bass in the rock band The Long Way Home for several years in L.A.  He studies 20th Century literature, film, graphic novels, and music.  He is most interested in the intersection between visual and aural culture and the experimental narrative forms that intersection generates, whether they take the shape of literature, film, new media, music, performance, or personal memory.
